Baby Shower

So my sister finally decided that the baby shower is gonna be September 24! Her and my mom have all the details sorted out (except for the addresses, which I am in the process of getting)! I can't wait! My one secret hope is that we will get a gift card for Home Depot so we can get the paint to paint her room! Lol. 

I have all my ducks in a row to go to school this semester, half-term (hopefully, as long as they don't make me fill out too much more paperwork)! I am excited! I am ready to go back to school! It will also give me something constructive to do with my days! Not that cleaning and cooking aren't constructive but there is only so much I can do in a day and when that is done what else is there to do?

Twenty Three Weeks Today :)

Today I am 23 weeks! Addison is the size of a Papaya! Here is what is going on this week:

Baby's little face is fully formed...minus the baby fat, of course. The next task at hand for baby: sprouting two teeny-tiny nipples!

Average size 10{point}5 to 11{point}8 in, 12{point}7 to 20{point}8 oz.

I went to the doctor yesterday and Addison has a good strong heart beat! My uterus is about two fingers above my bellybutton. My next appointment is September 20! I will be doing the ultrasound and glucose test! :) 

Feeling much better this week! I got some cleaning done today! Hoping to spray paint the rocking chair tomorrow! Cant wait to get the nursery painted so I can start setting it up! :)

22 Weeks Today :)

Today I am 22 weeks! Addison is the size of Papaya! Here is what is going on this week:

Real estate within your belly is getting tight, with growing baby leaving little room for your lungs to...well...breathe. Expect the huffing and puffing to start soon. There's not much room for your belly button, either -- it'll pop out any day now.

Baby's settling into sleep cycles, snoozing about 12 to 14 hours a day. It shouldn't be hard to figure out when -- just pay attention to those kicks as they start and stop.

Next Tuesday we have a doctors appointment. Tommy will not be able to go because of his new job so I will have to find someone else to go with me. :( I have also narrowed down the date of the Baby Shower between two weekends. The rest is now up to my sister. I also have to finish registering! Hopefully I can talk Tommy into going this weekend. The sooner we do it the better. :)

This past week(end) has been VERY stressful. One of my very good friends passed away Thursday. On the same day my grandmother's husband, Bill, passed away. We have had people in and out of our house since then, nothing is in the right place and I need a break. Things have calmed down a bit and I am looking forward to a normal(ish) schedule again.
